A downloadable checklist for content, key journeys, ownership and the days after launch.

A team reviewing a launch plan together over a table

Use this checklist to organise a launch review with your team. It is a planning aid, not a complete technical, security or accessibility assessment. Add the checks your platform, business and customers need.

Start with the customer journey

Choose the tasks that matter most and test them from beginning to end. Follow the same route a visitor would, including what happens after a form is submitted or a purchase is completed.

  • Review contact details, service information and key calls to action.
  • Check navigation, links and the most important pages on mobile and desktop.
  • Submit test enquiries and confirm where they arrive.
  • Review page titles, headings, image descriptions and keyboard use.

Make ownership clear

Assign a person to each item, record its status and agree what must be complete before launch. Keep unresolved questions visible. Confirm who can make the final decision and who is available if something needs attention.

Plan the first days after launch

Agree checks for live forms, important pages, reporting and support. Keep details of hosting, backups and responsible contacts in a location the right team members can access. Confirm how your team will report an issue and who will respond.

Download the CSV and open it in Excel, Google Sheets or another spreadsheet tool. The owner, status and notes columns are left blank for your team. You can add rows and adapt the wording to your project.
